Opening Ceremony, Indigenous Welcome and Reception

All delegates are invited to attend the official opening of the Conference, Indigenous Welcome and Reception. The Conference will be officially opened by giving recognition to the traditional Indigenous custodians of the land and introductions by leading identities from the field of child protection. Enjoy some typical Western Australian hospitality at the welcome reception, to be held at the Pert Convention Exhibition Centre, our venue for the Conference.

Cost: Included in the registration fee for members, new/ renewing members and non members. Tickets will not be automatically allocated. Please indicate on the registration form if you will be attending.

Conference Dinner

Guest of Honour and Speaker: Ms Therese Rein, wife of the Australian Prime Minister and NAPCAN's National Children's Champion. The Conference dinner is traditionally the social highlight of the program. It is a chance to network with peers from around the world in a relaxing and enjoyable environment, while sampling some delicious Western Australian cuisine and unique entertainment.
